Jax trouble shedding and missing his target

OttoNLucy Dec 14, 2003 02:53 AM

I am starting to get worried about my Jax. We are in week 3 of his shed and now he has started missing with his tounge. I used Reptivite about 2 days ago. He has a MV lamp on occasionally, a reptisun 5.0 and an incandecent compact florescent that I forgot the name of.
Any Ideas?

what is the humidity?

also what powder vitimin do you use...it should have high d3 and a low vitimin A for jaxs becuase they get V.A over suplimented very easily cause them to lose so togue control among other things.

also what is the cage temp.?

Humidity and Temp are 70 right now. Temp will usually rise as the day goes on up to 75 or so. I have been using Reptivite from ZooMed to supplement about once a week.

We supplement our jax only once per month - and lightly!

All of their feeders are gutloaded - and they get a lot of roaches and silkworms - besides crickets. We don't feed mealworms at all.

Hope this helps,
