Black Marks Shedding

Hi, glad to report that my Ben is doing just fine.. yet

he has two black marks about 1.5 cm long on each side of his middle body that come and go depending upon if he is excited or not.... they are not symetrical yet appear on both sides at about the same place.

he is currently shedding and it seems as if the shed is avoiding those two black marks. Anyone have any similar experiences or suggestions?

He has been drinking and eating fine, I have increased the humidity to help him shed as well.

I'm not sure what they are. Orion had a white mark along the back of her tail. I put polysporin on it once a day, and it's shrinking. It could be a bruise, or a mark of dead skin, or just a colour that he gets natually... Sorry i can't be much more help. do you have a pic of the marks?
