New baby....curiousity question......

Sonya Dec 14, 2003 11:36 AM

I got this baby in trade (for mice) from a friend. She is het albino (dad) and each shed she has a very silver/grey background color. I am wondering about the bands on her saddle though. I don't know for baby corns. They look so different as they grow and I haven't had much experience judging colors. Nor have I noticed one with partial bands on the saddles.

is it likelier that the bands will be more or less evident as the snake matures. I have seen adults with lightness in their saddles and wondered if the bands dilute to that or if they clarify and become more evident with age...and is there a way to know? Or is parents looks the way to judge babies and knowing genetics the only real help?
