The whole purpose behind pelleted diets and providing plenty of greens etc for our bearded dragons, is to provide them with teh most nutricious diet possible to ensure they are in peak condition and health. Sure they don't get this kind of diet in teh wild but then again, in the wild, their general lives are much worse. They have predators hunting them, parasites infecting them, harse climates, dry spells, fires, cars running them over, etc.

The most deciding factor, is we care about our pets and want them to live a long happy life free from harm. Proper diet is one way to ensure they live long and happy.

wel lits not like i put him in the streets and dont give the mwater but i think it is proper to give them a natural diet, i still do have a constent supply of pellets and greens 4 times a week but mainly chrickets

Stomach contents have yielded finds of up to 90% of the total diet being plant matter for adult dragons in the wild and about 50% for younger dragons. So, I think veggies would be pretty important.

When cats and dogs lived in the wild before they were domesticated did they eat Meow Mix and Puppy Chow?

Diets of pellets and greens are fine as long as they are getting they proper nutrients.

Their diet should be and remain at the ratio 60/40
60% greens and veggies / 40% meats - proteins
