IS THIS NORMAL?

Anyone have an explaination why my female boa goes to sleep on here with her head on the lock.
She maybe sleeping here cuz my tank is too warm? (85F)
Is this normal?

Michiel,
. Your snake may be trying to tell you something. 85 is too hot for a little BRB. The snake may be trying to get into the coolest place in the cage. You need to have a temperature gradient in the cage with one end in the low 70s and the other end in the low 80s. That way the snake can find the temperature that is best for it. After eating they will spend time in the warmer part of the cage digesting and at other times spend more time moving around in the rest of the cage. If your cage is very large you can have the warm end warmer than the low 80s and/or the cool end cooler than the low 70s and the snake can still find the temperature that it needs somewhere in the cage.

So i was right about worrying about the temp, thank you.
I swear the people at the pet store im never going to listen to anymore, so far they have told me 4 things that have been bad for my snakes which i later on found on the forum how too solve...
