This little kid believe it or not popped out of my Miami/Candy Cane Motley project. Here she is next to her full sister! Just goes to show, you never know what your gonna get. They are both definate het motley so perhaps I have a Reverse Okeetee Motley project corn instead of a Candy Cane Motley project corn.

What does motley mean?

It is a type of pattern that is inherited recessively. The saddles often stretch together on the side and connect. Here is the Motley mother of the two pictured.

that ugly candy cane sure does look reverse Okeetee. Is that the only one who looks like that? funny a miami mom could make a baby with so much orange. But I think it's pretty even if it ain't what it was supposed to be

Funny, she looks nothing like either one! She is by far the most "orange" one. The other amels were "so-so" Candy Canes, and the some of the Miamis had nice grey but you could tell there was a little color underneath. I know she's not ugly, just for a Candy Cane. We definately like her!

This is what that "ugly Candy Cane" looked like when she hatched we almost couldn't tell if she were a snow or not! She sure got her color in though.
