In the previous post you were waiting for the snake to shed.
Has it shed?
Is there still a problem around the mouth after the shed?
If it has shed and there is still a problem you need to take the snake to a vet.
It could be mouth rot or an infected injury or any number of things.
You most know the problem before treatment can be recommended.
You can not give a general description, and a poor one at that, and receive anything but guesses from us.
To the vet !!!!!!

You didn't seem to grasp the point I was trying to make.
Treat what? You don't even know what the problem is.
You can't just start giving a snake medication on a guess.
I don't mean to be harsh but if it will keep you from killing your snake with improper medication or care then so be it.
If the problem persists after the shed...Take it to a vet.
I am not one to jump at every problem and screem "vet" but if there is an obvious problem and you don't know what it is, the vet is your best if not only option.
I would hope there will be no posts listing medications when the problem is unknown.

i didnt mean i would give the snake medicine yet, i was just wondering if the treatment for this thing is relatively easy/inexpensive..if the problem is still there after the shed i will take him to a vet as planned
