Breeding question?

I have a 6foot female boa and a 3 and a half foot male..the females girth it a little bit bigger the a coke can..do you think i can breed them this year???If i do breed them is there a possible way i could loose a snake??

Well, as with most things, anything is possible. Yeah, they may breed, and yes, you may lose your female during gestation for multiple reasons. You will have that risk though regardless of her size. How old is the female, and the male? That may change things a bit as well, as far as your percentage for success or failure. If your 3' male is 8 months old, and your 6' female is under 2 years old, probably slim chances of success. If your female is 15 years old, topped out at her current length, and as heavy bodied as she's going to get, and your male is 18 months or older, just a small guy...I'd say your chances increase for success.
