I was thinking of getting a Mercury Vapor heat and uv lamp and an infared light, and was wondering if it is a good choice. What kind of lighting setups do you guys use for your horned lizards?

I have excellent results using the mercury vapor reptile lamps. They have UVA, UVB, and produce heat all of which are important to HLs.
Thanks Jeff I just needed some comformation on how well the mercury vapor lamp, and if it is worth the money.
They are easily worth the money. The HLs thrive under them and they have a long life. I use the 160 watt flood by zoomed. The ones by wild inside work well but the light is very yellow where as the zoomed is more white.
