Do you provide a light and basking spot for each individual ball python? How do you provide lighting/basking spots for them?

No, you don't need basking spots for BP's, hot spots are sufficient. Hot spots are provided by heat strips, heat tape, heat cable or heat mats located under the rear of the tubs and controlled via thermostats.
