Leshock Albinos

imacbevan Dec 14, 2003 09:04 PM

I'm trying to track down info on the Leshock albino leopards (if they exist?!?). I would love to find out more info on these if anyone has it, such as their history and what not. I have talked a bit with Justin at Intense Herp and he was going to put their story up on his site, but nothing as of yet.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Ian

I still hope to put the history of the morph online at some point and time, a long-term relationship break-up cuased me to put those things on halt as of now, but I will post info in the future and once I get the site online and up and running again. As for contacting Mark Leshock, good luck!!! If you get him to respond please let me know what he says, but it took me two years to get a hold of him!!! Later in 2004 I should have some more info and a good conclusion if it is in fact a seperate albino strain. If any of the strains it is likely the Bell strain.
Thanks
Justyn

Hi

I had just received an e-mail from Mark Leshock this past week, he is in the process of deciding which L. geckos he is going to breed together and which jueveniles he is going to hang onto for future breeding.

He is going to get back to me in several days about a couple L. gecko colorations I may be interested in to let me know what he has left that he will let go this year. I already have one of his albino, orange and white banded with white stripe down the back African Fat Tailed Geckos.

I think that why he is a little hard to get ahold of might be because he may travel for his real job.

Take Care, TLB

Hi Justyn

I would go ahead and send him an e-mail and just plan on him not getting ahold of you right away, but he should.

You could always put a little tempting hook in your e-mail to him and put on the subject line "interested in possible getting a L. gecko" and see if he will respond to you faster.

Take Care, TLB

I called him a while back and he was pretty cool on the phone, from what I could tell. Unfortunately I didn't ask about the 'Leshock' albinos.

Yeah, he is a good guy to talk to on the phone and I suspect him to e-mail me sometime if he has an answer to my question. I questioned him extensively about the Leshock albinos eariler this year and no the history of the morph. I aso questioned some of the other orginators of the albino strains about the Leshock and found out some intereting things. As for Leshock offering geckos. I'm pretty sure he will not offer TLB any albino stock, most likely hypo, blizzard, jungle stock, etc. he told me eariler this year he only had a few albinos left and he is going to keep them for the hell of it(being his strain and all). I'm interested in what he offers you. Like I said, later next year I will know more about this albino strain and will come to a good conclusion if it is in fact a seperate strain or not, 2005 for sure.
Thanks
Justyn
