I got my leopard gecko about 1 month ago. I chose my gecko for it's slickness and beautiful color. However, I did not know it would be uncomfortable in being picked up. How can make it become comforatble. I'm starting to lose intrest in him. What would you recommend I do?

Try sticking your hand in there with him every day for about 5 to 10 minutes, do this in the evenings when its quiet, and take all hides out while doing this. When he becomes more used to your hand you can try coaxing him onto it but dont pick him up. Just put your hand in front of him and try to get him to step on. Eventually he will walk onto your hand although he may not stay on it. Just keep doing this and be persistent. Eventually he will get used to it and be less skittish. When he goes to walk off then you can put your hand in front of his nose to keep him on longer. It took mine several months but now I can take him out onto the bed. Good luck!
