Sorry i have not been around at all, it has been a crazy month for me here. My horse, Willow, has not been well, he has had recurring mild to moderate colic over the past 5 months and so has been at the equine hospital undergoing tests to try and find what is wrong. After abdominal x-rays to check for enteroliths which are stones that can form around foreign matter in the digestive tract, and to check for sand, we found nothing abnormal and the amount of sand is minimal. On the scope we found him to have a "textbook" stomach found no evidence of gastric ulcers or anything else of concern, not even a blemish, the scope showed a perfectly healthy stomach and esophagus. The blood panel showed all normal aside from a lower white blood count. He is being treated with Baytril for now which should fight any infection that may be present. With the symptoms he has presented and with all other thigns ruled out we think he may have salmonella from the water or possibly from another horse that passed through the farm. Anyhow, we have been treating him, we have moved him to a different place now and he seems to be doing better aside from some side effects we beleive from his immunizations (strangles) some sweating and swelling, he is doing fine. He is on IV injections of Baytril until the 22nd and then we are going to draw some more blood and recheck him. Hes going to hate me by the end of this, last time i had to give him injections of penicilin for a week straight he didnt want antyhing to do with me for a month. Ah well, my poor boy. Aside from all this our car broke down so we have not had a car since the weekend before thanksgiving, the camshaft snapped in the engine and the head is warped.. argh.. amoung other crappy things.
Carrick and Gobi are still sleeping here, and Daigh is no longer a baby, hes a big dragon now, and i think he will soon outweigh carrick. Anyhow, i hope everyone is well and had a good thanksgiving and all that sorta stuff. talk to you all soon

I never doubted it she has been doing wonderfully. She is doing so good in there with them and is holding her own eating and basking on the highest hammock, even though she is not the biggest yet. She jumped in a took no sh*t from both of them. So I'm glad to hear from you. I was going to take a pic of her tomorrow in with her new girlfriends and share with you
Talk to you later. Hope the horse does better for you.
