Haitian Boas

imacbevan Dec 14, 2003 10:06 PM

Sorry if I have this in the wrong forum, but can someone point me in the right direction? About fifteen years ago I was into Haitian Boas, Epicrates striatus striatus. Is anyone working with this subspecies now? Can someone post a web site? I'm thinking about getting back into them.

Thanks,
Ian

I tried finding them myself recently cause I used to be interested in them too. They are very few and far between. There was a 2.3 group of adults being offered on the classifieds a few weeks ago. I inquired about them but the seller got a better offer that didn't require shipping them. I also remember seeing babies offered last year but babies can be very hard to get started anyway. For now, I'm just settling with my trio of Cubans including an anery looking female. They don't seem to be as hard to find but are still rare. The Insular Epicrates are not as popular as they should be. Striatus pops up every once in awhile. You just have to find them.
