I was just helping one of my baby females get the last bits of shed clear from her face when I noticed a bit of blood in her mouth. It was not a lot but I opened hor mouth with the side of a pencil (which was not easy), and looked in side her throat and saw a little more with some mucous. I have kept her under ideal conditions since I got her on 10/16/03 and she has since grown from 196 to 240 grams and eats great (last time a small/weaned rat on 12/3).
I got her with ten other females all CB or CH by a reputable breeder. Could it be resporatory infection? Her nostrils look fine, and I have not noticed any weasing.
It freaked me out and any info would be great.
Thanks
Evan
