I just tried your suggestion of letting the snake go into the cage when giving an injection and it worked like a dream! No more wrestling with the poor beast. Thank you so much.

it is hard to explain in text, i was thinking about making a little video to show what i meant, but it seems like you might have got it figured out. once you do it a few times, it is REALLY easy
