Hi all,

I've got 2 juvies sharing a tank. Iggy is doing great, eating and growing and shedding... but Zeke has decided to stop eating -- won't take crix or mealies, though he(?) will pound the waxies if we catch him at the right time. Husbandry I think is ok: good temps, 20L tank, 4-5 hides (1 humid), water dish, on paper towels, etc. I'm worried about Zeke, so I took both little guys to the vet to get checked. Vet did a physical exam and a fecal float and acid stain and couldn't find anything wrong. They recommended force feeding Zeke baby food through a syringe, and if he doesn't start eating again on his own in the next week to come back in for some blood work. Force feeding him has been traumatic for leo and human alike, so we're going to try some other feeders, like silkworms, to see if he'll take something, ANYTHING.

I'm the kind of person who likes to be prepared with as much info as I can (you should see how long it takes me to buy a car... sometimes I think I know more about models and features than the salespeople do.... but that's another story). So here's my question: In case I do have to take Z in for tests, can anyone point me toward some info, or give me suggestions of what to specifically ask and make sure they do? Anyone have experience with this? What did the vet test for, and what recommendations did they give?

And thanks for all who have shared info about fecal tests, that really helped me be ready for my initial vet visit.
