oops! sorry for the "bleep" apparently I used a bad word for "complain" :P.
We Valley Girls don't think of b*tch as a bad word unless it is directed at a person.

That was rd 1. 6" last night then changed to rain. So I got to shovel slush. That is always hugely exciting. My feet were wet all day. They are predicting rd 3 on wednesday. I still don't know how much for that storm. And it still isn't officially winter yet. I love new england!!! It is fabulous. Takes away time from the animals isthe worst part.

Uh...maybe I shouldn't in and say I'm in Texas and was at the beach this sunny day??? But- I still would love to see the snow. The last time I saw real snow was when I lived in Maryland 11 years ago

It's been 15 years since I've spent Christmas at what I consider home, and this year we're heading there for the Holidays. My son has never seen the likes of Lake Michigan snow. All you Sun Bunnies don't know what you're missin!!

My brother in law has just built a beautiful log home in the middle of a bunch of trees, windows all around. I'm going to sit in front of the fireplace and feel like I'm in my own personal snow globe...

p.s. The reason we haven't been home in 15 yrs is because the last time we drove through a full blown blizzard and vowed we weren't doing THAT again. I guess time dims the horror of it all...lol!!

Hopefully you are going further north in Michigan then, cuz over here in West Michigan we don't have jack, maybe like 1/8" or so...pathetic

Not so cold today, but yesterday morning we woke up with a nice
-22°C. I work part time in a boarding kennel and yesterday, even the dogs did not want to go out... In February, we are used to it, but the beginning of the winter is always difficult.
My beardies seems to fear the snow. It should look so unnatural to them.

CheriS Dec 16, 2003 01:20 AM

Were not doing any rescues or rehabs (yeah right, til someone calls and begs) right now, as when they are healthy I don't want to send them back off into the cold somewhere...

So those here are most likely here for the winter., but my whole lanai area is empty now for the first time this year

So I have pleanty of empty set ups right now j/k I know people could not part with their beloved pets..... but then, if Sandy turns up her nose at the boys this year again, I have threatened to send her off to be fostered!!!

It's soooooo hard having empty tanks!
