I was wondering what all is involved inregards to obtaining frogs from europe? I will be in England and the Netherland in july and I have seen some awesome frogs on some Danish websites. Could I buy some while I'm there and mail them to myself in the States? are there permits involved (I'm sure there has to be) How do you go about getting the permits? On and if this is possible any suggestions on frogs I should be trying to obtain?
Well thanks again for your imput!!
Jamie

Well, I've been looking into this myself and from what I've been told, you need an export/import permit from the Govt. as well as CITES paperwork from US Fish and Wildlife Services. I strongly suggest that you call the USFWS and US Customs and gather as much info on this as you can before attempting anything. If something, by chance, goes awry, you could find yourself facing smuggling charges so be very careful and keen. Best of luck!
