While I absolutely love these snakes, unfortunately they are growing extremely slowly. The male in particular fed maybe 6 times this past year. The female is a much better feeder. They also go off feed in winter and to avoid excessive weight loss, I brumate them. Right now, I'd say there is no way I will breed them before they are 4 years old, and it could even be 5. So this is definitely a long term project!
