Well, I had been hand feeding my leo for about a month and a half now. I had seemed to be making progress also. He'd eat from my hand without hessitation, and would spend some time out in the open for a while afterwards. I started handling him a little every day, and everything seemed to be going well. He's still eating well, hasn't lost weight or anything, but he's getting less and less social every day. Now he displays hessitance when I'm holding a worm near him, and instead of staying out anxiously awaiting each new worm.. he'll go back into his humid hide after a couple. I find myself having to coax him out of his hide with more worms just to continue feeding. Also, he seems wary of my hand now, he won't go too far onto it, and if I move a little he'll back off right to his humid hide. Also, he did something today that he's never done before, in that he literally leaped into his humid hide after feeding. He usually has pretty slow movements, and has never darted for anything before. I'm wondering if I did something to scare him off during handling, or if leo's just get moodswings. Sorry for the long post.

As long as he's healthy and eating don't worry too much.
