Tub size for C.A. Boas?

pcole Dec 15, 2003 06:19 PM

I also posted this in the cage building forum but thought I'd get some input from Boa owners as well:

I'm getting a pair of Central American Boas (possibly Hondurans) and want to build a rack to house them in. They are roughly 5'-5.5' and no more than 10lbs. They are 5-6 years old so have probably pretty much maxed out in size. What size tubs would you recommend to house them in? I'm oing to build the rack around the tubs so please make suggestions.
Thanks,
Pete

i have used wrap and kraft boxes to house snakes at this size. if you could find the tall ones, say around 8" tall that would work well for that size snake.

I think the bigger the better... check out this site:

You can get a tub that's 4.5' x 2' and I forgot the height. They are relatively inexpensive.
