New to Scrubs...

darrylv Dec 15, 2003 09:14 PM

Hi,

I see all these pics about scrubs (especially the Bar Neck Scrubs) and now i'm very interested...LOL. I'm new, so I don't know all the breeders. Does anyone know who I can contact to find some Bar Neck Scrubs???

Thanks for all the help,

Darryl

...and add that, if you have the space and temperament, scrubs are one of the most rewarding animals out there. If you ask around, I'll bet that a good proportion of the keepers who have added scrubs to their collection will tell you that they are their favorites species.

P.S. I live in Southern California, so I guess Gary is out of the question. THanks for the responses.

I've got 1.1 CB Southerns (Merauke) and 1.0 CB Barneck and yes they are my pride and joy. In my opinion Scrubs (including clastolepis, tracyae, nauta, boeleni, and timoriensis) are the best experiences someone can gain with pythons. And they seem to be some of the most intelligent snakes one can have in their possession. You also need to check out SpitfireReptiles.com

Respect to all the successful Scrub keepers.

He's my introduction to the Scrub world. Got him when he was an 18" red noodle, now he's a 7ft nearly patternless posteriorly. Then I got a mate for him and she's an '02 Aztec. Try to get more recent pics soon.

I concur. CB is the way to go. JK gave you the best resources. I own 1.1 CB southerns from Yasser(Spitfire).. Thing is, he wont be producing anymore... He sold off his normal breeders, and is working with his cooler morphs of Southern. He will however *crossing fingers and toes* have barneck babies this season.. So if you're interested in the barnecks, look Yasser up. I recommend JK's scrub oriented forum too, www.moreliapythons.com

Hey,

Thanks for all the info guys...really appreciated it. What gets bigger of the three- Moluccan, Southern, or Bar Neck?

Thanks for all your responses,

Darryl
