poisonfrog420 Dec 15, 2003 10:52 PM

Hi all, what would you guys value the following animals?

A adult male with a few missing toes and a kink in the tail. It is wild caught of unknown age. It has been in captivaty for at least 3 years.

Also, an adult male that is C.B. (by James that used to post on this forum). It is about 1.75 years old and is also missing a few toes.

Thanks, Jake.

I saw your message in the beardie forum too.. the best thing to do (w/any animal) is look at what everyone else is charging. You have to compete with the prices of other people (some overprice and some underprice). Where you set your price determines how quickly you sell the animal(s).

With males, I'd say they're value is at a peak at 1 yr. old (when they usually reach maturity) and goes down from there. When you factor in the tail nips, missing toes, etc. that decreases the value more. WC animals are very easy to get at low prices.

Check out the prices on the frilleds for sale right now and you're basically competing with them if you're selling through the KS classifieds.
