How long until matureity

poisonfrog420 Dec 15, 2003 10:54 PM

I have 4 unsexed D. Leucs and wanted to know how old on average they are when they start to breed. They are about 6 months old now. Also, what do you generaly provide besides the basics when you are breeding them? Thanks, Jake.

My female has bred at about 14 months, males start calling around 7-8 months. I hear as well as experienced that Leucs are seasonal breeders. Mine bred from April thru Oct, with a clutch about ever 10-14 days. Best way to get them breeding is a drying out period(maybe through the winter) and start misting and feeding very heavy at the end of Feb. Good luck !
