Good amphibian or tree frog website

chameleoncrow Dec 16, 2003 12:21 AM

Hi froggers,

Would anyone be so kind as to direct me to good amphibian or tree frog websites with a large information database? Something sort of like kingsnake.com, but of course to a lesser degree and less commercial oriented, and mainly focusing on amphibians, frogs, or red-eye tree frogs.

I guess i am looking for a website dedicated to amphibian lovers and people who wish to study them. An online amphibian encyclopedia or sorts...thanks in advance

I gotta say I will be monitoring this post as I like to have as many opinions as possible - But I have not yet managed to find with my google searches anything as complete and comprehensive as this place right here.

I know it can be a little frustrating waiting for all the adds to load before the forum actually gets here (at 56k) - but I've found it to be well worth waiting and have yet to find anything as good.

I'd personnaly prefer a Frog only site as I have little interest in snakes or lizards - but I'm sure the people who do are as anxious to care for their friends as I am with my frogs - and shareing the knowlege of and with others has so far turned out to be the best way for me.

I've found this website to be easy to use and most informative - and have taken great comfort in the knowlege that we can forge at least a consensus on any problems or treatments before we risk our most precious friends.

Keep it up Kingsnake.
