Hey Tyler

Hey. Sorry we didn't meet up at the Pomona show. There's always next time. I heard there's a show January 18 and 19 in Orange County but I'm not exactly sure where it is and if I'm going. What did you get at the IRBA show? I got a ton of stuff and didn't pay much for it. The prices at the show were the lowest I've ever seen anywhere. Silkworm and Goliath Horned worm cultures were 5 bucks. I love that fruity smell of the chow. Makes me want to be a chameleon so I can eat the worms. I almost bought a 4 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot all-screen cage because it was 84 dollars. The cheapest I'd ever seen them was 100 dollars. But I decided not to because I'm going to build my own cage. The Kammers and Amazing Blue had a nice selection but had little of what I was looking for, however I still bought from them. As funny as it sounds, Amazing Blue didn't even bring there best display animals. I'm into poison arrow frogs now but I'm not going to get any soon because of financial reasons and I have to do research on them and I have my panthers to take care of. Now I have to wait 6 months until the next IRBA show. Holler back and let me know your thoughts about the show and what you got. How many panthers (Adults) do you have now?

I think the next IRBA show is in March in San Diego but I'm not positive. Someone told me that can't remember who. I'm not gonna go to any shows other than the Pomonas, San Diegos and Salt Lake City. I wish they'd do one here again. IRBA had one in Vegas in '99 but apparently was a bust and hasn't happened since. I was living in Utah at the time for college. In Pomona I got 2 trios of veileds and a few extra veileds. I don't know why. I kinda want to start from scratch with veileds so I got a bunch of them LOL. I also got more screen cages and some feeders. Those silkworm cultures at the show were way overpriced. Always have been. 5 bucks may sound cheap, but for 20 silkworms it's very expensive. If anything, I'd pay the 5 bucks to get ahold of the chow that came with the worms. Maybe the hornworm deal was ok. The big breeders haven't brought many of their best animals for a while. Kammers did a year or so ago and ever since they got one stolen they haven't been. Amazing Blue never really did to begin with. They bring their up and coming breeders for display most of the time. I don't know what everyone else thought, but I thought that this Pomona (compared to the other ones) was pretty slow. Didn't seem like everyone was there or something. I usually walk around for 3 hours and this time it only took me 45 minutes to see what I wanted to see. Then I just went back and fourth between Kammers and ABR for another hour. It was allright though I got what I went for.
