I couldn't quite make out how many cages you actually have or how your planning to house them, but if your looking to house a male & female together for anything longer then just to mate it is not recommended. Males are dominate towards most females, and will cause your female stress, and possibly to go off food. Males will look to breed a lot more then the female is willing to except his advances which will cause problems with the female weakening and stressing. I've heard a few cases of the female actually hurting a male cage mate seriously when she had enough of the males constant desire to mate her. Always good to house males separate from females. Two females housed together might work, but then again it might not as even females can have dominance issues with cage mates. Always go into it planning to house each dragon you have separately, and work towards housing them together over time. Plus every new dragon should go through a quarantine period of 2-3 months to make sure it does not have anything that can spread from dragon to dragon, and during this period get a fecal check to make sure she is not loaded with parasites that the others don't have. Always be careful when housing dragons together. It might work sometimes, but definitely does not work all the time. My opinion males housed with females other then a short period for breeding is a NO NO.

my rule of thumb is 6 sq ft of floor space for an adult dragon (up to 3). I know some folks disagree and recomend at least 8. Having the facilities to seperate the male from the females is important during the off season or when the male is to aggressive. When placing 2 females together be prepared in case they dont get along. not common but it does happen. I just put 2 girls together and boy did the sand fly for the first day. now they know who is boss and all is cool.
