Has anyone kept Phantasticus or Ebanaui in Florida...................?

EricIvins Dec 16, 2003 09:25 AM

My herp room in the summer hovers around 82 degrees, right now its around 74-80 Degrees depending on the day. I've kept Lineatus before with no problems, but now that I've seen my first Phantasticus in person I really want to get one. I know they don't tolerate higher temps, but just how high can they go? I know a LTC can withstand a lot more than a fresh import. Has anyone kept these species in Fl., and if so at what temps?

I have kept and bred U. phantasticus and U. sikorae in southeast Florida. I live in Palm Beach county. My herp room is my bedroom and is always around 70-75. Any gex that need heating, I use heat pads, heat tape or bulbs. My Uroplatus only have a fluorescent light.
