What size breeding group for normal red tails?

IM going to buy 2 breding groups of normal colombians, what size breeding group does everyone use? Im not breeding for any morphs so who sires who dosent really matter..I was thinking about my BP's and I use 2.3 would that be right for the boas as well? Thanks

I've always put 1.4, or 1.5 ratio. Worked pretty good so far!

My breeding groups consist of some different ratios 1.1 1.2 2.2 2.3 2.1 etc honestly I don't think there is a "by the book" way to go about breeding groups. I'm of the mindset of a more even ratio as I feel that trying to extend males to many females(not in all cases)doesn't lead to great success. Most mature males are good breeders and well success is based off of a number of other factors! Good luck with picking up and breeding your animals.

So it sounds like there is usally 2 males like a ball breeging group. Thanks for the input guys..
