I'm wondering if I could house a BRB in a cage size of: 36Lx24Wx11.5H - or is this not enough height?

TigerGenesis,
. I think if you have a cage that size with the right temperature and humidity a BRB can stay healthy in it. It just seems like too small a cage to me though. BRBs are climbers though not extremely arboreal.

Thanks Jeff - that's what I wanted to know. I certainly don't want to deny it the opportunity to climb if they like too.
Thanks!

Mine are big time climbers, which may have alot to do with the way my enclosure is heated (incandescent night lights so they need to climb if they want to access warmer temps). But my observations show they seem to like to climb around alot. My enclosure is 4 ft. high and they use all of it.
Paul (any excuse to post a pic).
Mine must be a bit different. She spent so little time climbing that I took the tree out of her tank because I figured it was interfering in her burrowing. I thought they were completely ground dwelling judging from her behavior. Guess it goes to show you can't make generalizations for a species based on one animal.
(she's also so calm and collected and NICE that I often wonder if there's something wrong with her)

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?

I can't say I have any other snakes that I feel totally comfortable picking right back up and putting back in their cages after they eat. Even my nice snakes would be happy to bite me at that time. Not Winky. She's good for cuddling, too.
