This is my 14 year old female s. pine. She is from central Fl. There was some discussion a while back upon the variations of s. pines, this one is fairly boldly patterned unlike most that are from this area.

A really nice man named Lance sent me a nice baby male. The parents were from Williston in Levy Co. Florida. I need to get some better pics, but here are a few not so nice ones for now. Thanks for sharing your pic, and if you have any others please post them.
Thanks again, and happy holidays,

Gregg F.

I don't know why, but one picture was posted after your previous message. Sorry about that, all the pictures of the baby S. Pine were supposed to be included in my written message.
Have a good one,
Gregg F.

he looks 'almost' patternless to the fore. i wonder why so many southerns exhibit this trait? i recently acquired a female southern that is half patternless, half patterned but w/ that washed out [hypo?] strawberry look. looks very similar to the adult male shown below that got hit by the tiller. good luck w/ him!...........
shoot me an e-mail with pics of that female you have. I'd really like to see it someday. I hope all is going well out your way in PA, loving these temps and the snow, a great ski season once again.
Have a good one Dan,

Greg.........nice looking little mugitus. Found near Williston in Levy County.....eh? I haven't found a pine there yet, but a lot of fine looking snakes crawl around in that part of Florida.
Thanks Steve, i really like this little guy and can't wait to pick up a female for him. Good luck with finding some pines on your next trip to Williston. Is that near the town of Gulf Hammock? Just curios.
Have a good holiday season,
Gregg F.

Congrats......I hope that old girl appreciates the good good care that you have obviously given her. Was she an adult when you first got her?
I raised her from a hatchling. She was produced from a captive pair in a museum.
