Does anyone know what could be causing my beardie to lose his appetite? Could it be parasites? Could it be some other condition? Has anyone ever experienced this with their dragon?

how old is your dragon? what is your setup like? what do you feed? what are his temps like?
parasites could definatly be a cause of lack or absence of appetite, it would be good to get a fresh sample to a herp vet for a check.

Reiko is right,, get a fecal if nothing more than to rule out parasites. It may also just be queuing into the season. I have several dragons who are too young to bromate but have their own ideas in mind. All I can do is increase the light (amount & time) and hope they stay up.
I hope that helps.

Read up on the winter slowdown also called brumation. It doesn't necesarily have to happen in the winter but this is the time when many bearded dragons body functions begin to slow down, eating slows, volume of food consumption will also change, and pooping even becomes less as they take in less food.
