Drinking from a bowl/ Adding another

skwas12 Dec 16, 2003 04:59 PM

I have had my bearded for about six months now and I have never seen it drink from the water bowl. Is it necessay to keep the water bowl in the tank or does it get enough water from daliy misting and misting of its vegetables. Also when does it get too late to add another bearded to the tank. I have plenty of room I just don't know if it might be too late to add. Thanks to anyone the offers help.
Steve

A water bowl is not necessary because they can get water from their veggies, misting, and weekly baths. Water bowls can harbor bacteria, raise humidity levels, and tend to be a toilet most of the time. It's my opinion that they are too much of a risk and one more thing to maintain.

Do you know the sex of your dragon? If it's a male then you should never house them with any other dragon. If it's a female it is possible but not always succesful to house with another female.
