SAND AS SUBSTRATE

blue_tegu Dec 16, 2003 06:33 PM

going to redo cage in a few days. was thinking about doing 1/4 of it, the hot, basking part with sand for substrate since that's where she tends to poop and pee the most. would sand be ok? (remember its only for part of the cage)

Should be fine, but I would bet it wouldn't last for very long in just 1/4 of the cage. I bet it would bet scattered within a very short time! Billy
