... I thought I would snap a couple new pictures too. Actually it was more like 40, but only two turned out good. This is my albino black rat snake, Misty. I got her in June, and she's been growing nicely. My mom saw her yesterday for the first time in 3 months and she said "boy is she getting fat." She's 14 months old and about 2.5 - 3 feet long.

This girl has a pretty sweet temperment too. She's a bit shy, but usually calm and curious. She's never bitten me, even when I have a mouse dangling from my fingers. I don't think I'd try that trick with a kingsnake though...

Here is a close up of her head. Her colors are a bit washed out in this picture, unfortunately. She has a lot of yellow around her lips.

Yours looks like my newly acquired female. She's about 5 feet and cream-colored. I'm wondering if her albino trait is compatible with my male's, pictured below.

Unlike the female, his blotches are visible and pink.

Yeah, mine is cream colored with orange blotches. Unfortunately the orange blotches are fading a bit each time she sheds. She also has thin, barely noticible outline of purple around each orange blotch. It is obvious with good lighting but does not show up well in pictures.

Albinos sure are hard to photgraph, aren't they?

I've read that there are two strains of albino; the pink and the orangish ones. I think you have one of each. It would be interesting to see what the offspring would look like.
