Vet called while I was at class tonight. Mom took the message for me. It was NOT Adenovirus!!!!!!!!!!! Repeat NOT ADENOVIRUS. All three collections that came into contact with him are safe!! It was intestinal Cancer. Doctor said it was probably something he was born with. Nothing we could have done or not have done to save him. And He'd never seen ANYTHING like that in a lizard before. Completely out of left field. As much as I miss Him terribly, as much as I loved him, there was nothing anyone could have done even if We had known he had cancer. Now I know that everyone else in My collection is safe. I have to think about them and keeping them safe. Maybe one day I'll find another beautiful orange male. But For now, this is it. Don't think I really want to get anymore.... Heart is still broken after losing him.... But at least I'll feel safe about handling the others again. Haven't taken them out since we lost him... But they are safe. And so are the other two collections that had contact with him. Maybe I'll actually be able to let him go now... It hurts to look at his empty cage.... Galiano will have to move in. He'll like the bigger house anyway. But there is closer now. He did of Cancer. He'll be missed But The rest are safe.
