I mean so many so called "Axanthics" look like the one on the left. I could not be sure :rolleyes: In other words, I was just joking around.
However, if you wish to get technical, the axanthic IS on the left hand side of the regular animal. When the photo was taken, it shows the axanthic on the right, but in real life, the animal was indeed on the left. 
If you want to get technical, nothing was on the left HAND side of the normal, as snakes dont have hands.....lol

Jared,
Can you get one of your macro shots showing that axanthic’s eye right next to a normal eye? In corn snakes the charcoal line of anerythristics have unusually solid dark eyes. I'm wondering if that would show up in any of the axanthic balls or not. Maybe if you take away the yellow stripe through the eye you will always end up with solid black eyes without any special gene making them darker.
