just for now they are in a 55 gallon----saw the future home this weekend--horse trough 6 x 2 x 2 ---galvanized---the 55 is really only housing one now-- female is hibernating --male is only one using space-brian

yup cypress mulch---i live in south florida and it is sold just about everywhere(in bulk in a lot of places also--by the yard (approx 1 pickup truck full) is the best and cheapest way i find it----what ever isn't used in the landscaping goes in the tegu tanks-------my favorite- keeps humidity well, smells great, easy to spot clean,super cheap-50 pound bag is around three dollars and a pickup full is about 20 bucks--best of all is no bugs/insects in it!------BRIAN
