our pair of corns bred (physically copulated) on March 1 and March 13...They had been together earlier than that but the female was uninterested. On may 19th she laid a clutch of 28 eggs, of which 22 are good, so far...She stopped eating about 10 days before and settled into her nest box up until 3 days before, and seemed to be more active, cruisin' around the rubbermaid...the male wasn't really brumated; we disconnected his heat for about 3 months and fed him a hopper every two weeks or so...Don't know about the female, she was received in Feb. on trade and was "said" to be cooled...the female's a big corn snake, but she was visibly larger 1/3 of the way back, and you could see skin under the scales...breeding w/o brumation happens all the time though...some of the breeders ands long time herp lovers here have talked about it, especially with younger animals, like first year breeder animal...peace, Chris
