i got crushed in my machine at work today so i had the rest of the day off to try this out,i was curious as to how long it would take my cold loving nile to warm up and become my "hot" loving nile, and then to see if i could get her to calm down again
:here she is warming up

here she is 3 mins later, giving me her lovin

and here is how i diverted her attention

and in this pic im totally invisible to her

all in all she went from a cool nile to a raging nile to a contented nile in about 6 mins
oh well enjoy the pics

I love when my nile is cool, things go so much nicer. then he warms up, but by then, hes on my shoulder, and as long as noone tries to pet him, hes fine with it. He refuses to eat in front of me. He takes his food in his hole. I think he thinks i might take it off of him. Hes a grab and run kind of guy.

also, sorry to hear about u getting crushed. That probably was a pleasant experience, I would assume.

this is the first time she has ate in front of me!IM trying the hands off approach these days and so far so good, she gets a little devilish to begin with then calms down and will walk under me and sometimes even over me,i dont suspect im one of the lucky ones though,i think she just knows now that im not gonna eat hershes not bitten me for quite some time now just puffing up and hissing.
I got those welding gloves from work because shes getting quite nifty at the "grab and rake" tecnique when shes on my arm like that, funny thing is i hate to use them!I just e-mailed someone in england about a pair of argus so heres hopingOh and if you ever get curious about how bad it is gettin crushed in the my machine try squeezing your hips in-between an 8inch gap, thats how far the machine clamps down, its used for bending reinforced steel bars and could easily have sliced me in 2!So um yeah all in all it's bloody sore but i got lucky when my friend noticed i was getting crushed he hit the kill switch which strangely enough is on the side of the machine that i cant reach
well thanx for the concern

My father owned a machine shop, and i worked there for 5 years(unfortunately, the shop went under), and I have worked with almost every machine imagineable. That is a pretty big hydrolic? press if you got your hips crushed in it. I once had a milling machine grab my glove and nearly tear my hand off, thats as close as i can get.

As for niles, my guy never bit, so im very lucky. I refuse to wear gloves, so i have my fair share of wounds from the needle like claws. amazing how easy they puncture the skin. I seriously think he has a sharpening stone in there with him. I am doing the hands off method now, for a few months now, and i think I already see a difference.
