They came today, what do you guys think

I got them on a trade 2.1 hypo tangs and he threw in a male regular. I was thinking really hard because its 2.1 instead of 1.2 but I figured I go to the NY show and get another or 2. Should I get more tangs or can you breed these with something other like albinos? Also the 2.1 hypo tangs where housed together so do you think its ok for now and seperate the regular one? Also are these involved with creating other morps like how do you get the super hypo tangs, baldys and carrot tails? Well as far as setup im going to put the hypos in a sweater box and regular in a shoe box and heat with a human heatpad until I can see if I can make a small rack. I plan to get heat tape from the show with a dimmer or affordable thermostat.

Pretty cool group of leos. Congrats. I do have a few observations though.

I would separate all the males from each other. It's getting to be that time of year - and the males will fight and possibly injure each other.

OK, now for the other question - what to pair them up with. Personally, I would keep the very best, most hypo tang male that you have - sell/trade the other two, with some cash and buy yourself a really, really, really tangerine carrottail female. Then you would have a nice breeding trio with the possibility of cranking out some neat looking babies. Then you can keep the nicest, most screamer babies and breed them back - or introduce another male, etc. that's the fun part of this hobby.

If you wanted to bring in some albino trait, that will take longer, because you will produce hets, then breed them together, yada, yada, yada. But hey, it might be fun - you just won't get immediate results.

Of course, this is only my opinion - and what do I know?

Have a ton of fun - enjoy this great hobby.
