Sandfire Foods Supplement

antonm Dec 17, 2003 12:58 PM

Hey have you guys seen the new supplement/super food developed by sandfire ranch? T-Rex is selling it and they have a variety of them but in terms of gecko they have crested, day, leopard, and leachianus. I was wondering which in your opininon would be best suited as a supplement for a tokay (if any)?

IMO, i only trust what i mix myself. IE- i know what is going in what. I use a repcal/herpitivite mix in all my supplements. That particular product however, im not aware of.

Watch out - not all of these are supplements! The leopard dust is - it is mineral supplement formulated specifically for leos. The crestie and leachy stuff is food replacement - you mix it with water, and this is a complete diet all by itself - vitamins, calcium, everything! I'm going to try to switch my cresties over to the stuff later. Personally I wouldn't hesitate to use the Leopard dust on other gecko species. The sandfire formulas are supposed to be really good, so by all means give them a try. Good luck!
