I have found little clear looking bugs in my Cypress Mulch. They are not mites, they look almost translucent and are about 1/8" long and have long "feelers", for lack of a better word. Any idea what they could be?

i haven't seen them in my mulch, but from your description it sounds like "silverfish"---they are a humidity bug--BRIAN

They could also be springtails..maybe?

Springtails are harmless, they just clean the cage.

Do I need to replace the mulch and try to bake it before I put in the new stuff, or just let it be as they are harmless. What would you suggest?

i've always used mulch directly from bag---for many years on blackthroats and now on tegus--never any problems-BRIAN
