my male blue bites my female doesnt

my baby blue male trys to bite me and does bite me some times and he always see me pick up the female she is such a sweetheart .i was wondering why he does this i tried all the advice you guys give everyone but i was wondering if anybody had or has a stubbern tegu like this and if they have any advice on this i tried talking to him and show him that i will not hurt him with holding hiscagemates but if i try to pet him he will try to bite me and when i first come in the room he arch his back and wiggle his tail the whole time i am in the room please help

This is all normal Tegu behavior. They have different personalities just like people do. Some of my Tegus have tamed with little handling at all, some took a little more work, but all of them are tame by the time they are a year old. I've seen this in a lot of different species of lizards. Once they get some size on them and realize that you are not interested in or couldn't eat them if you wanted to, they calm down nicely. Be patient, handle both carefully and cautiously, be gentle but firm. You'll be well rewarded for your efforts.
