Are black tree monitors hard 2 take care of?
whoah, that's a weird looking tree monitor you've got there...lol. I keep V. prasinus, V. macraei, and V. becarri, throw me an email, and I can hook you up with info on how I keep mine. You should also talk to some other people on this forum, for the more personal accounts on captive husbandry, the better of an understanding you might get, and will be able to mold your own techniques from. The true way to success in keeping varanids is to learn from one an others trials, mistakes, and successes for that matter. I know Mike Stefani keeps a bunch of tree monitors as well, try throwin him a line, he is a very friendly and helpful person to chat with. There's a bunch of tree monitor keepers on another varanus(.nl) site, from the netherlands and across europe, and the us, which are there to help you. Take care, good luck, hope to hear from you.
