I have a few questions out of curosity. Are all those little things the "BioBalls" you guys are always speaking of? And is the pump in the front where the water flows out of the top container or in the back near the hose?

The pump is in the back.

That is actually a mix of two different bio material, I don't remember what the manufactor called it, it is basically just chunks of porcelin. Bio-balls are different they are blue and pokey looking.

I think what she used was the hagen (or laguna, or fluval depending what line of theres it is) biomedia which is a ceramic holey based cylinder shape. Same concept as Bioballs.
