Ciliaris and many other species of Strophurus are easy to keep and breed. All Strophurus like a basking spot on a branch. Ciliaris seem to take most advantage of it. I keep all of My Strophurus on paper towel as juveniles, as adults on a sand peat substarte. A 10gall on it end works well for them. They like lots of branches. I think a big part of keeping them going it to lightly mist them in the morning and at night. I would breed them at 1 1/2 yrs old if I were you. They can be productive. 6 clutches or more(sometimes less. They are all pigs. I fed mine 2-3 crickets daily. They are fun to keep and breed. BEWARE, their are a lot of inbreed specimens out there, so do your research.

This pic is of a Strophurus intermedius.
