My baby ball has excreted a loose, brownish mucus two or three times this week. Not at all what I'm used to as feces. Any idea what this is?

...How long have you had this snake?
Has it fed for you and on what?
How does it look-body condition?
Based on your current info on the surface it sounds like a bacterial infection of the intestinal tract. Unfortunately I may not be able to get back to the BP forum for several days.
In the meantime, if the snake isn't feeding that is obviously not a good sign. If it is does it keep the food down? For how long-through to defication?
I think at this point it's worth looking into a herp vet check-up.
Good luck!
