the baby below is a F2, both it's parents are captive breed from different breeders. Question, has any one else produced any F2 stock (any uroplatus species), seems like most of the babies out there are F1s.

I've produced F2 phantasticus and guentheri.

thanks for the reply neil, at what temps do you keep your phantasticus at. and do you have more success keeping them in pairs or groups w/ 2 or more males.
I keep phans at 55-68F (night) to 72-76F (day). The cooler night temperatures are during winter. In summer It's hard enough to get it down to 68.
I find any sex ratio works (1.1, 2.2, 1.2, 2.1).
They only drawback to groups is trying to keep bloodlines straight.

Congrats on the baby (or babies). You're right, not many people have F2 Uros. Keep up the good work. How are those phantasticus I sent you a couple years ago?

what does F1 and F2 mean?
F1 is first generation cb from founder stock (wild caught animals). F2 is second generation cb from F1 animals.
Hello,
My F1 henks will be ready to breed this month- just growing them up.
I think Geuntheri are into the F2's now. Not to sure tho-
TQ
Lots of luck with him !
