the baby below is a F2, both it's parents are captive breed from different breeders. Question, has any one else produced any F2 stock (any uroplatus species), seems like most of the babies out there are F1s.

thanks for the reply neil, at what temps do you keep your phantasticus at. and do you have more success keeping them in pairs or groups w/ 2 or more males.

I keep phans at 55-68F (night) to 72-76F (day). The cooler night temperatures are during winter. In summer It's hard enough to get it down to 68.

I find any sex ratio works (1.1, 2.2, 1.2, 2.1).

They only drawback to groups is trying to keep bloodlines straight.

F1 is first generation cb from founder stock (wild caught animals). F2 is second generation cb from F1 animals.
